What are Official Language Schools?

Official Language Schools are public inssitutions specialised in the teaching and learning of languages. Their curriculum is fundamentally based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) and the subsequent Companion Volume.

Official Language Schools certificates are valid in the whole of the national territory. Royal Decree 1/2019, 11th January, concerning evaluation, opens the door for the international validity and recognition of the certificates, which is still in progress.
